Ready to update your home? We’ve got some great DIY projects and quick-fixes that are easy, affordable, and enjoyable. Take your home to the next level, and have fun while doing it with one of these ideas:
Paintable Textured Wallpaper
Have a wall or ceiling that has seen better days? Cover it with heavily textured paintable wallpaper, like Graham & Brown’s fabulous patterns below. They’re thick enough to hide unsightly or water-damaged plaster, create a stunning look, and can be painted any color you wish.
Easy On/Easy Off Beadboard
Real beadboard is tough to install, but with a trompe l’oeil wallpaper you can get the look of wood without all of the hassle. Graham & Brown’s version is realistic, doesn’t require pasting or soaking the paper, and also peels off easily when you’re ready to redecorate. To hang, simply paste a wall and slide the paper into place. We like the paper painted in a soft cream color and paired with nautical reds & blues. For another easy DIY idea, hang a fun tassel from a lamp cord.
Art Made Simple
Love the look of a wall filled with picture frames, but don’t think your wall can hold all of them up? Instead of searching for studs and putting holes in the wall, use a wallpaper with frames printed on it. Try Graham & Brown’s paintable Frames or York’s washable Fancy Frames wallpaper for an interactive experience, cutting pictures from magazines and pasting them into the frames.
In celebration of the recent Royal Wedding, Graham & Brown debuted interactive wallpaper filled with crowns and coronets. The paper comes with self adhesive jewels that allow you get creative, adding as many or as few jewels as you please. This would be a great project to get kids or friends involved!
